btw.bio started in English and Turkish, then Azerbaijani and Arabic joined. Today six more languages arrive, so the whole site now speaks ten languages.
The new languages

- Português (Brazilian Portuguese)
- Русский (Russian)
- हिन्दी (Hindi)
They join English, Türkçe, Azərbaycanca and العربية. Every page is translated: the home page, sign up and log in, the whole dashboard, error messages, the leaderboard, the blog and the status page.
How to switch
Open the language menu at the top of any page and pick your language. In the dashboard it is in your account menu at the bottom left. Your choice is remembered on this device.
Each language now has a flag next to it. The flags are small pictures that ship with the site, so they look the same on Windows, macOS, Android and iPhone (emoji flags do not, and Windows does not show them at all).
Easier to find
Every language has its own address now, for example btw.bio/?hl=de for German or btw.bio/?hl=hi for Hindi. Search engines can show people btw.bio in their own language, and a link you share opens in the language it was shared in.
Your profile does not change
Translations cover the site around your page. Your profile shows exactly what you wrote, in whatever language you wrote it.
